How we manage consent

We collect consent to analytics cookies through our own banner on the website (without an external third-party consent management tool). On your first visit (or after you delete the stored choice in your browser), a notice is displayed where you can accept analytics (Google Analytics) or decline it.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (using the localStorage technology) under a key defined by the operator; it is not sent to a server as a separate record of consent. You can change your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer, which displays the banner again.

Essential (technical)

Needed for the basic operation of the website, for security, for storing your consent choice or for loading content. Under the Electronic Communications Act, these cookies generally do not require consent, provided they meet the conditions for an exemption.

Preferences

Allow the website to remember settings (such as language or region) so that you do not have to enter them repeatedly. We currently do not use these on this website, apart from storing your consent choice (technical storage in the browser).

Statistics (analytics)

Help us understand how visitors use the website. After you give consent, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google tag / gtag); Google may store cookies and process data in accordance with its policies. Without consent, the analytics script does not run.

Marketing

We currently do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this website. If they are added in the future, we will list them here and extend the choices in the consent banner.

Legal basis and retention

For cookies that are not essential, the legal basis for processing is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on electronic communications. The lifetime of cookies depends on the tool (e.g. Google Analytics) and the type of cookie; details can be found in the documentation of the relevant provider. Your consent choice remains in localStorage until you change it or delete the site data in your browser.
